Dogs, I don’t know what to say, Dogs, I wished they’d all go away
Weather mutt or pedigree it’s like they’re just out to get me
Dogs, that’s why I wrote this song
My kids have a Japanese Chin they named her China
And when she has to poop you have to remind her
Or she’ll look you right in the eye, give you a wink, a nod and a shrug
Then walk up into the bedroom and poop on the rug
Dogs, I don’t know what to think, Dogs, they’re going to drive me to drink
Weather black, white or brown it’s like they’re just always around
Dogs, that’s why I wrote this song
My grandaughter’s got a white Maltese his name is Malty
He’s on a very strict diet that isn’t too salty
So we bought him expensive dog food, but guess what he likes to do
Does he eat the gormet food, no, he eats all my shoes
Dogs, I don’t know hat to say, dogs, I wish they’d all go away
Weather mutt or pedigree it’s like they’re just out to get me
Dogs, that’s why I wrote this song
Now how did they ever get to become mans best friend
Cause when they’re not trying to sniff my croutch, they’re sniffing each others rear ends
And when my like is done it still won’t be over
There’s no way I’ll ever get rid of Spot, Fido or Rover
I’ll reach those pearly gates and give a reluctant nod
Cause everyone knows that dog spelled backwards is GOD
Dogs, I don’t know what to say, Dogs, I wish they’d all go away
Weather mutt or pedigree it’s like they’re just out to get me
Dogs, we just don’t get along, Dogs, that’s why I wrote this song, Dogs, I wish I had a cat
